Unity, Faith, Discipline: : Values to live by

25 December 1876, a century and a half ago, a hero was born. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the one who fought for and achieved a homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. The Quaid, the father of the nation, a man of vision, a man of determination. A man driven by a mission to make possible the dream of true liberty, Pakistan.

As we celebrate his birthday, we need to imbibe the principles he lived by. Unity, faith, discipline are not mere words, they are the attributes that must be striven for, if we are to become the nation he toiled for. He sacrificed his health, he sacrificed his wealth, he sacrificed his comforts in his relentless pursuit for freedom of Muslims of the subcontinent.
